Bruce Dyda chose to park his Cloverleaf Aviation AA/FD in Ace's Hangout instead of the paddock.

Around 12:30 all the Hot Rods that wanted to came up through the paddock and went out on the track for Ace’s Hot Rod Hangout Participants Parade Lap around the entire Laguna Seca road course.

Later in the afternoon the attending members of International Drag Racing Hall of Fame took their places in the Champion Speed Shop Welcome Center to do another autograph session, this time for the fans at the track
